Does anyone know what will void the 5 year warranty on the Aygo?

For instance if I have non-Toyota alloys on will this void the warranty? Or any particular mods that will?

what you would normally expect to find is that doing something like that would NOT totally invalidate the entire warranty

but if for example you had fitted non Toyota alloys (and of course told your insurance company!) then any claim under warranty for any related parts may be invalid

eg if wheel bearings went and they could show that the eg wider alloys caused extra strain on them then you would not have the claim paid by Toyota

or if you fitted a chrome exhaust finisher and this restricted gases then any backbox/ exhaust claim would be invalid

in practice it would be interesting to see if they had to prove it DID AFFECT IT or if you had to prove that it DIDNT!?

any lawyers out there got the legal answer on this one?

Thanks for the reply, i'll just swap the wheels back over when it goes in for service :P
