Clunk From Rear When Braking

Still getting to know my 2005 5 door XT4 manual petrol which I bought in April, and am a little concerned by a clunking noise which appears to come from the back end when braking, although not every time. Is this normal or does something need attention?

Have had same with my 4.2 of 2005. The dealer checked it but nothing wrong. Seems to be the pads that move a bit they said.

But after the last winter it was away.

shucks - everybody will be wanting their brakes to clunk now.

I've seen it mentioned before about the rear pads moving. Just make sure you have yer anchor at the ready just in case

Go get a free brake safety check - it's better knowing than finding out too late.
