Townace 1991 2.0Td Royal Lounge Won't Crank When Hot

Hi

I own a 1991 Toyota Townace Royal Lounge and runs very well and starts first time when cold but when warm the solenoid is heard clicking but the starter will not crank. If I wait about half an hour it usually starts ok. I was wondering whether the starter relay maybe sticking or if it's an ECU problem. I don't even know where the starter relay or ECU are.

Could anyone please help?

Its a starter motor problem, common problem on this model.

My friend has a toyota imported Estima, and she found BBCSPARES were great, Mark @ bbcspares specialises in Estima, Townace and Granvia's.

Thank you for that but the guy I purchased the Townace from knew about the problem and had a recon starter fitted so this has led me to think it maybe the solenoid/relay sticking when hot. When it cools down though it starts fine, so how can it be the starter?
