Anybody Cleaned A 116Bhp 2.0D4D Egr Valve

Been reading about EGR valves on here and cleaning them, but all the nice photos and descriptions of where bits are etc are for the T180. Has anybody removed and cleaned the EGR valve from a circa 2005 (116bhp with cambelt) 2.0 D4D engine. My car runs ok but the mpg is dropping and it defo is struggling on power, it has 93,000 miles on the clock and the EGR valve has probably never been cleaned unless it is part of the Toyota service schedule.

So anyone got any photos and words to show where the EGR valve is, what it looks like, how to remove it etc etc?

Regards

David

Cheers for the reply and photo. My car is not massively down on power like yours seemed to be but it still sounds like it will not be wasted to give the EGR a clean anyway!

Cheers again

David
