Oil Starvation On Landcruisers 2005

Hi My Landcruiser 3L engine has just seized and I am told that it is due to oil starvation! It has only done 75,000 miles and has been serviced regularly, so I can't understand how this has happened. Has anyone had a problem with theirs as I find it rather distressing that a car with such a reputation should have this problem at 75,000 miles!
