Brake Warning Light

Hi all, new member here.

I have a 93 Gen 6 St 202. F/n/s caliper siezed so stripped and freed while waiting for new seal kit. Lost some fluid as expected but not that much, it only went below the min level. Topped up the fluid but the brake warning light is still on. Have driven the car, brakes seem OK but the light stays on.....any ideas will be much appreciated. Cheers...

I would say its the sensor in the brake res top thats stuck try pressing it and see if light goes out if not its as above you will have a brake sensor (on disk)thats either broken or not fitted tidy (if its not fitted tidy light will come on) but try cap first it will take seconds

Never thought of that, yep one is nearly down to the metal. Would have been putting new ones in anyhow. Might replace the discs as well, seem to have a bit of a rumble when braking from speed.

Thanks.
