Looking at getting a De Cat. E bay 2fast2cool has one for £50. Has anyone fitted one without putting new exhaust in? Just wondered if the gains were noticable.

Can't justfy the cost of getting a new exhaust atm. Apexi kit fitted yday tho- extra fruity note and slightly quicker revs made me grin but I'm sure some of the joy this morning was a "placebo" cos I just fitted it.

Has anyone bought from 2fast2cool- are they reliable?

I bought my Apexi from Temple Tuning and it was fine. Although fuel consumption went up even more. I didn't get the Japseed exhaust in the end, as I have just sold the car due to need for a mopre practical car :(.

If your car is in mint condition its probably worth spending the money on the Japseed exhaust and decat. The video on Japseed web site is awesome. My Mr2 came with an aftermarket exhaust (Cat as well)- not sure what it was but looked like the Mongoose type.
