High Revs On Start Up

Hello,I have just bought a new Aygo Black edition about 2 weeks ago, which allround i am pleased with, but when i go to start the car the engine revs up to at least 2000 rpm for a second or two then falls back down to 1000rpm , i am just wondering if this is normal, can't remmember my last car reving as high as this at start up, cheers any help is appreciated.

Same here, think its normal, maybe the auto choke system!

normal as far as I know, automatic choke controlled by the ECU enjoy your Aygo Black (I think they're the best! :P )
