Where The Hell?

Does anybody anywhere have, or no where I can get a switch for the rear power window on a 1984 4Runner. It's a real pain trying to lift a bicycle or 50 pound toolbox over the front seat because the damn tailgate can't be put down. No local junkyards have one, I can't find one on eBay, and so far I haven't found any websites that sell them either. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Considering the lack of response... and your own difficulties in sourcing one... I am afraid that you seem to be left with the prospect of re-mortgaging your house to buy one from a dealer :(

Are you sure it's the switch,as some times the relays go.

There is one breaking on eBay at the moment.

The dude I bough it from said it was the switch. All the panels in the back that cover the window motor are pulled off so I know he did some troubleshooting. He also said you could pull out the switch and touch some of the wires together to make it work, but I can't figure that one out. There's alot of wires on the back of that thing. As far as eBay goes, last time I seen a switch it was up to about $30 with lots of time left on the auction. All this hard to find, oddball crap on my 4runner is making GM products look better all the time.
