hi can anyone tell me the location of the engine and vin numbers are for 99 prado

The answer to half of this question depends upon whether it is a 4 or a 6 Cylinder,however,being an Australian vehicle (I hope}, you should find the VIN stamped on an aluminium plate attached to the vehicle under the bonnet or in a door recess. The Vin on some toyotas is stamped into the firewall and others are viewed through the left hand lower edge of the windscreen. If all else fails it is the same number as the chassis number.

The Engine No. of the 3RZ-FE (4Cyl) is located at the front lower left of the engine behind the alternator.

The Engine No. of the 5VZ-FE (6Cyl) is located at the left hand side of the engine above the oil filter.
