Hi all, got a question for you all and hopefully someone will be able to help..

I am currently driving a 2.0L Citroen Picasso and this isn't imported, so hense why I am going to ask the following question.

I've found a Supra for sale, it was a jap import, registered in the UK Aug 2004. When getting insurance quotes, do I have to specify that it was a jap import or do I say no because it's now registered in the UK??

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

David.

I posted this on another forum and I got an answer back within 5 minutes. If the car was imported regardless of when it was registered in the UK, you still have to inform the insurance company that it is an import.

Yeh you have to declare that. And there aren't many supras here hence the delay in replies. Check post dates and you can see that it is a very slow forum section.

Where else did you post?

UK and Import Supra's are totally different. For a start the non turbo mk4 was never sold in the UK. So you must ensure you tell them its an import.

It will make hardly any difference to your insurance premium anyway.
