Aftermarket Satnav

Hi

Looking to replace the standard radio (non JBL ) in my 2007 RAV4

Ideally i would like touch screen with buuilt in GPS.

I have come across units like thislink and was wondering has anyone fitted anything similar? and would it integrate with the Toyota Blue-tooth which is fitted to my Rav and also the steering wheel controls.

Any advice would be much appreciated, also recommendations for alternative units would be very welcome..

Drop a PM to Hoovie who had a really cracking Kenwood set-up he had removed from his Rav....may be sold by now.

Hi Jim,

looks like a real bargain . From the write-up it looks as though you have to supply your own SatNav software and maps as you would with a PDA type device. I'd be just a little aprehensive about getting it to work. It might be no problem at all to someone with a better grip of this sort of technology than I have. I would guess the unit that Hoovie fitted ( Kev refers to it in his post ) cost considerably more than this one.
