Hi I have recently returned from Australia and brought my Yaris with me. Just wondering if there are any other YRX's in the country?

Welcome to the UK and to this Yaris forum, but I think you'll be lucky to find anyone on this forum who even knows what a YRX is, let alone has one.

You got me interested so I took a look at the toyota.com.au website to find out.....

Interesting to see that you have the "old" 1.5 engine in a new shape Yaris. Totota have never sold that engine in the Mk2 Yaris here.

The 1.5 was only sold here as a "TS" sporty model in the first-shape Yaris.

The "sporty trim" here now is called the SR. For a while you could buy a 1.8SR in the new model range, but it wasn't as quick as the old model 1.5TS.

Our Yaris range used to be T2 (basic), T3 (medium) TR (T3 plus alloys), T-Spirit (luxury) and SR (sport trim), but 12 months ago, Toyota UK dropped all the various trims and now there just the T2 and TR - and the T2 is only available in a 1.0litre manual gearbox version. Every other spec is a TR trim model....

I see there are the usual variations between specs in different countries - you get bluetooth phone control, traction control and vehicle stability control as standard in Australia, but no side, curtain or knee airbags. We get a full set of airbags as standard, but you have to factory order traction control and VSC.
