Hi,

Basically I'm thinking of getting my alloys refurb'd. They're in pretty average condition to say the least due to the previous owner.

Has anyone used them? Were they any good? I'm thinking of going to the one near Cardiff.

I think I am right in saying that Demon Wheels is a U.K. wide franchise, so have a look in Welsh Waleshire just in case. They send a massive Mercedes van cum workshop to your home address, and they made a superb job of my wife's Merc a few years back. Best budget for about £50-60.00 per wheel.

I had all 4 wheels refurbished on my 2008 Avensis, due to some annoying kerb damage. I left my car with them for the day, for them to strip the tyres off, sandblast/chemically strip the wheels, powder coat them, spray them, laquer them and refit the tyres. The quality was first-class and they're indistinguishable from new wheels.

I'd have no hesitation in recommending them again - the one I used was in Burton upon Trent.
