Replacement Dvd Player

I've just been quoted £670 to replace the failed built-in DVD player in my 04 Verso - these people at Toyota are nuts!

Does anyone know if you can buy a direct replacement anywhere else?

Sorry I cannot help with this but I have a related question. Just bought a Verso with the DVD screens but no headphones/remote included. Can anyone recommend a good non-Toyota supplier as I too have been quoted unbelieveable amounts (£291 for 2 infra-red headphones and a remote).

Can't help regarding the dvd player,except its a centurion dvd899.

But i have been looking for replacement headphones since purchasing my verso at the weekend. I noticed there is a guy on eBay selling the remotes (new ones) at a tenner a piece, and i searched back through this forum to find somone recommending in-car-stuff, (who have a shop and are on ebay) for headphones. Ordered mine yesterday, 3 pairs for just under £50.

Did you have any luck finding a replacement DVD player? I'm on the look out for one as well for my 06 Verso.
