The tracks and some in-car footage from some of the Competitors

Rockingham Speedway

Rockingham is near Corby in Northamptonshire and was the first purpose built race track in the UK since Brooklands in 1907 and is Europe’s fastest banked oval racing circuit, with the unbeaten lap record for the 1.5 mile oval set at 24.719 seconds by Tony Kanaan in his Ford/Lola Champ Car on 22nd September, 2001 - an average speed of 215.397mph!

Rockingham offers multiple in-field circuit configurations, featuring hairpins, straights and chicanes with ample passing and run-off areas and for TSS a few added cones.

RAF Sculthorpe

RAF Sculthorpe is a helicopter training facility for the United Kingdom's Royal Air Force, situated about 3 miles west of Fakenham in Norfolk, England. Over the years has been home to many visiting airmen and support crews of the RAF and United States Air Force. The runways are no longer in use and provide the backdrop for an auto-cross style day's racing.

The 4A-GE bit has me interested! Got one and am getting my hands on another engine and C52 box to build up to 200BHP. :D

Sounds excellent Dave actually managed to finish 4th overall last year in it, the only ones in front were a Celica GT4 ST205 with an estimated 340bhp the Fensport Corolla GT4 running about 430 and Jonny Milner's Celica GT4 ST205 at approx 375.

It's one amazing car - I've been out on track with him and the power is great (and so's his driving.... they don't call him Dave 'sideways' Brooks for nothing )

haha! Sounds to be some great fun. My 200BHP engine won't be seeing the track all that often as it is intended for the road, I don't have the money needed to make a track day warrior so I will be settling for £6200 to make it good for the road and the occasional blast down the strip at Pod.

Read about the Celica in TPM, great feature and one phenomenal car too!
