Premium Satnav Hdd & Nokia E66

I have replaced my Samsung D900I Mobile that worked fine with the HDD Sat Nav in my 59 Avensis T4 Diesel Saloon with a NOKIA E66

Despite pairing ok, on subsequent use the phone connects and immediatly disconnects.

I can see many Internet posts that suggest that this problem is common on modern phones using bluetooth standard 2.0 whilst the TNS510? Satnav uses the very downlevel BT 1.2.

I thought that there had been earlier discussions in this forum on Nokia V Toyota pairing problems, but cannot seem to find the items now.

I have updated the firmware on the phone to the latest version from Nokia and Toyota Technical Support updated the SatNav HDD SW in May to the 2010 version.

Has anyone found a solution to the problem?

Update to above.

Toyota now has available a SW update/patch for the HDD SatNav that allows the Nokia E66 (and I assume other modern Mobiles) to connect and stay connected.

Dealer had to contact Toyota Technical Support to get the patch. Fitting took about 30 mins.

Nokia E66 now connects each time the engine is started.
