Rear Lights

Has anybody had trouble with rear lights as in heavy condensation building up inside lens. This is the 2nd set of lights that have been fitted by Toyota now going back again for 3rd set to be fitted under warranty.

Has anybody had trouble with rear lights as in heavy condensation building up inside lens. This is the 2nd set of lights that have been fitted by Toyota now going back again for 3rd set to be fitted under warranty.

I have the same problem - but this is because i had a leak that resulted in the drivers foot well filling with water. It was a problem with the door seals and the weather membrane on the inside of the speaker of the driver door. Now sorted the leak (i hope) but still got the problem with condensation. I'd advise you to have a good check of your carpets to see if you too have a leak as it seems its not uncommon. Mine is a 10 plate blue with 8oo miles on the clock.

Ther could be a water leak in the boot, which could cause this. Lift the boot mat and have a good check around. If there is a leak, then fitting new rear lenses isn't going to sort the problem, you need to find the root cause.

I had condensation in my front head lamp not so long ago i took it to my local garage who fixed the prob very eaisly after toyota tellin me it wd cost me 150 pounds for a new headlamp which it turned out i didnt need thankfully
