Yesterday I lifted the bonnet just to have a check whats going on underneath and when I lifted the bonnet up, the underside of it is splashed with like a pink/white liquid that had dried up. (Only a small amount, and on the drivers side only)

I also noticed there seemed to be some sort of dried residue on this part of the engine. (Ive uploaded 2 pictures because its hard to explain)

Thanks :)

Have a look at the bottom pulley on the drivers side of the engine. I suspect that's where the fluid is coming from. It's probably a leaky water pump and is a common fault on Aygos

That happened to mine without me noticing (not being a bonnet lifter, as it were).

The dealer noticed at the second service and replaced it under warranty without even telling me until it was done, so as long as your car is in warranty you'll be ok.

As the fluid is pink it is almost certainly a leaky waterpump, contact Mr T for a replacement. thumbsup.gif

The fluid is the Anti-Freeze, it's pink or green or purple. Water pump as others have said. :)

You should get it sorted as soon as you can, and keep an eye on your coolant level till you get it fixed.
