Urban Cruiser Dpf

I have been a Toyota owner since 1986 - 4 carinas followed by 4 RAV4's now an Urban Cruiser 1.4D. Like the car apart from the dreaded DPF that keeps trying to regenerate day after day and has illuminated the oil change warning light by pumping diesel into the engine oil. The dealer and Toyota Technical still haven't cured it. The internet is full of horror stories from VW, Nissan etc who warn drivers against short journeys and city use, but I thought the URBAN cruiser was a car for the town. Perhaps I should have kept my old RAV4 diesel that was superb without the DPF! Is anyone else out there having similar problems with DPF on Urban Cruiser? DPF burn off is indicated by falling AV MPG , idling speed up from 600 to 1000 RPM and hot paint smell followed by oil change warning light flashing. Look forward to hearing from you.

Has the car had a chance to fully regenerate ? because once it has the DPF shouldn`t need to do so again until its nearly full.

I wonder if yours could have a faulty DPF pressure sensor.
