Just wondering, is there any toyota bB owners in the UK? Any places for UK bB owners to discuss as I can't find anything on the web except one owners club that barely have anyone talk on it.

Sorry to do a Burke & Hare job on a thread that had been on its way to forum heaven since six years ago, but I'm wondering the same thing and would help anyone who wanted to begin such a group, club, register or specialised board. They're an amazing wee car and although spares are easy to find and dealers aren't shy of taking on servicing for anyone whose neighbours won't approve of DIY, we still need a voice, IMHO.

The Datsun Cube has a web presence, ergo so should owners of black Boxes!

Think this is the only thread re the bB.

A later version was sold as the Daihatsu Materia in the UK, but between 2007 and 2011 there were only 854 of those sold.

There aren't enough of the bB's regsitered in the UK to feature on the website 'How many left?'

There is a Facebook page for this Toyota, so perhaps that is the way to go.

Just arranged to collect my 2003 bB Open Deck in about 10 days. Anything come from this topic?

Have had my OD two months now. It’s a great little car and I’m very happy with it. New tyres to replace the mixed Chinese jobs and new bushes have helped transform the handling. I’ve just finished fabricating a cover for the rear section out of aluminium checker plate And it looks the part, imho. 
 

Question for other owners, is the rear tailgate included in the central locking circuit?
