Engine Management Warning Light

Hello.

I have a 2004(54) Verso T2 1.8 with 52000 miles recorded, which has been serviced throughout it's life. On a recent journey the Engine Management Warning Light flickered on and off and there was temporary loss of power. After a brief period, I took the car to a nearby Nissan garage and it drove fine. A engine diagnosis was carried out and no problems throughout the cars life were found. Nissan said it could be a faulty batch of petrol. I then fuelled the car and drove the vehicle home (12 miles) and it was fine.

The next day I started the car the warning light came on, and there was some vibration and loss of power again. The warning light flickered on and off and sometimes stayed on for a few seconds at a time.

If anyone could provide some assistance I would be extremely grateful.
