Celica Vvti 140 Door Ajar Problem

Hello all,

I am the proud owner of a fantastic 51 plate Toyota Celica VVTI 140, but the other day I was driving the car as normal and parked, got out and went about my day. I then went back to the car after about 30 minutes shut all the doors and looked on the dash by the rev meter and noticed it said I had a door open. I got out of the car open and closed all the doors including the boot, and then got in again. To my horror the light was still on. I thought probably best to inspect this when I get home. When I arrived, I again open and closed all the doors and the light was still there. I can now, not lock my car using the key fob and have to use the key to lock it. This is also draining my Battery.

Anyone had this problem before?

I had this problem and noticed that the door catch was loose just tightend up with a screwdriver and it cured it
