Carina E Front Downpipe

Hi all, I had the cat replaced last week amongst other jobs for the MOT to the lovely tune of £500! However seems the front pipe is blowing now but doesn't appear to be getting worse. Is their a join in the front downpipe, seems to be a strange flange half way up. Carina is 1.6 lean burn 1994.

I see £57 from europarts. Asked good old kwik fit for a quote, they want £157 all in. Nice profit there eh! Gonna get my mechanic to put it on.

ECP has saved my Toyota Genuine ass more times than I can count. Can't believe their prices.... I'll always use Toyota parts for major engine parts but things like that, well, it's a slab of tube which can be made by anyone.

They do have a flange which makes them look as if they don't join up. ;)
