Foul Smell From Air Vents!

when i start the car in the mornings and put the heater on the car blows out foul air which smells like 'rotten eggs'.

what on earth causes this smell as it is disgusting. is it the air con filter or something?

the car isnt even a year old (corolla t3-march 03)

any ideas?

It could be the airfilter that cleans the air coming in and comes out through the ventilatiosystem

when you replace this filter for a new one it probbily whil be over .

or else you have to let the dealer claen the Aircosystem ;)

I had a similar problem with some kind of wax used in the bonnet that melted and accumualted on the grilles.

Could it be anything to do with your clutch ? messing up clutch control puts a bad smell through the vents in mine.

quite commonly bacteria in the aircon system, pop down to Halfords or auto mart place and get a spray to spray on filters to kill the bugs....
