Hi guys new to this so bear with me, i just bought a avensis 1.8 gs vvti for 1300 quid 115000 miles on a 51 reg, full service history and has the odd mark but on the hole a smart car for the money i think. ok on with the problem, i had a little drive around the site i bought it from and every thing seemed fine, got it home drove up a bank and with window down and heard a blow from the exhaust, took it to the garage they said the bracket just before the cat had started corroding and had a little hole, £242 all in, pap me panse....... took it to the fella who looks after me cars and they said for what it is i should just leave it until it blows altogether, ok the second problem is when turning either way there is feedback on the steering like a dull clump sort of, what do yous think guys on this should i take it back to the original garage and say sort it out or would i be wasting my time, one last thing no warranty but on reciept it dosnt say sold as seen either. any ideas or advice most welcome thanks paul.
