Hi there evrybody .I proudly have an I Q 2 1.0 from December here in Greece .At the manual it says somewhere that the safety belt bipper can be adjusted in the owners preferences. Today i went for the first service and when i requested to silence the bipper all hell broke loose . I heard everything from the story that somebody brought charges to the workshop that adjusted it up to the point of national security. I called TOYOTA HELLAS and they replied that if its in the manual then they must erase it from the manual because TOYOTA HAS INSTUCTED them otherwise. Simple as that, maybe next they will nulifie the quarantie

I will mail Japan -any other suggestions

thanks all

Do you want the bleep turned off or something else, I dont quite understand?

If you email Japan it will be sent back to Greece to sort out, you are wasting your time doing that, email customer service in Greece if you need to discuss something

Kingo

Actually i did just that and they insisted on a Toyota guide line But funny thing when finally somebody asked for the page from the manual and verified it then they came to the conclusion that since its in the manual the guide line does not apply for this model .

They said that it was all a misunderstanding and cancelled my beeper as requested. End of story

Thanks for your patience
