Warning Light

Hi all.

Good site by the way.

I have tried to search but could not find any information.

I have a 56 plate Avensis T180 Tourer.

On the dash, on the right hand side I have a orange warning light on. It looks like a cruise control light but its not as we all know the light for cruise - is "cruise"!

The light is next to the push button in the right side of the clocks, looks light a speedo reading zero, with a lightbulb in the top corner. Very small light. Am I being stupid - is it a lightbulb out somewhere??

Thanks.

Don't worry, it's not a warning light. I have it on my 2008 Avensis 2.0 diesel. It's on permanently and just indicates that the push button to the left of it adjusts the brightness of the instrument panel. If you push the button when stationary and the engine is running you get changes to the instrument panel illumination.

Hope that helps.

Just been out to play with it, it changes the brightness when the headlights are on.

Thanks Luthier.
