Na To Turbo Conversion

Recommended Posts

Was just wondering how much it would cost to have a turbo conversion on my engine, I have 1992 rev 2 GT-Tbar or how much it would likely to be to have a turbo engine transplant in my n/a.

Cheers

I know someone who did this. Based on his experiences, it would be more reliable and cheaper to sell your N/A and buy a tubby. Insurance also costs less on a bought tubby. But if you're up for the challenge, budget not a problem then have fun and good luck

Schweeeeeet.

I'm gonna be doing this at the end of the year unless I can find a nice black rev3 tubby somewhere. It would work out cheaper for me to get a transplant though, probably, coz otherwise I'd have to find new rims too.

I need a decent exhuast also, not this powerflow <the spuds of lurrrrvve>s.

keep in mind u'll need a different exhaust system for a turbo...

Yeah - That's what I mean.

A turbo lump would be a great excuse to ditch the nasty bit of (probably) gap-ridden, cat-back powerflow on my car at the moment.

It sounds great but ultimately it's *******.

What's wrong with a powerflow?... I was going to pop down there for a quote.

There's nothing really that WRONG with powerflow, I suppose.

Sound-wise they're fantastic but performance-wise you could do alot better.
