used a similar product in the 2 called miller octane boost and you could definately feel a difference and hear the difference through the exhaust :) not sure on hot shot thugh

10% of not very much bhp to start with = very little gain.

It'd be like putting super unleaded in your car instead of unleaded... that's probably the difference you're looking at.

can you mix unleaded and super unleaded, or would I have to wait til the tank is empty(but there will still be a bit of petrol in the tank)

you can mix, but if you're filling up half with super and half with unleaded... you're diluting the super by 50%...

you'll see more of an effect if u let it run almost dry, you might even hear it sigh in relief that you've given it some proper fuel!

There's a strange phenomena where I actually 'think' that using super for a couple of months... and then going back to normal unleaded makes the car more responsive.... don't know how it works, maybe it's just in my head.

If your switching to super unleaded, go for Optimax, it is 98RON rather than 97 as everyone else..

and the reason these give more bhp?

They hide dettonation from the knock sensor so your engine can advance in timing .. you get an extra 10% BHP and holes in your pistons for free
