Service Costs

Hi,

I have a GEN 7 140 and I was in Mr T on Saturday having my alloys changed.

I am soon due a 20K service. I asked for a quote of what I would be looking at and I was quoted £245 as an estimate as the Filter price might go up! :o . I am sure my 10K was much less then that. I know they need to change the oil but come on.

I thought I would post this on here so people know what to expect when their service is due. If anyone knows what the 10K service costs or all the other ones, 30K, 40K etc please post them.

Thanks

20K service will cost more than the 10K (& 30K) service as there's more to be done.

£245 does sound a bit steep though, would've thought around £180 - although I'm guessing completely as when I had my gen7 Celica, the services weren't paid by me :)

try phoning round a few Mr T dealers near your area theres usually a fair bit of variation between them, ie near me priory nr mansfield wanted £30+ to even look at why my car was rattling like a !Removed! marracka (need spell check ;) ) and needed to book in 2weeks + wait where as Worksop , L & S Copcutt & Son car was straight in within 5 mins of getting there, sorted and BYE all under warranty and less than 30 mins total (With a free coffee aswell :D ) and they were busy aswell!

i just had my 7th gen serviced it was £70 for 10k service i asked how much 20k was and he said £220 plus anything it needs, but it shouldnt really need anything much. wipers perhaps, pads should be fine. other than that its a toyota they dont really go wrong.
