Need Replacement Key

hi, i have recently bought a 2000 vvti uk model, but it only has 1 key with no buttons on it.

the key has a lot of damage to the plastic part. i'm thinking this might have been done to insert a chip from the original key for the immobiliser.

i've got 2 key fobs on the keyring made by laserline and a box of electrics in the drivers footwell also marked laserline.

this fob works the remote locking and also has a panic button on it. the car still has all the TVSS box's in it and responds to the programming routine of opening closing door and inserting key in a specific sequence.

my problem is if i order a replacement key from eBay (around £60 for a key with the inner electrics fitted to a new blank key) which type do i need?

the key blade i have seems to match the denso 1512V key blade, but this comes in a 2 and a 3 button type. the 3 button key has a button for unlocking the boot/trunk

the 2 button type is lock / unlock

my laserline key fob has 3 buttons, but one of them is a panic button which just sets alarm off!

the frequency of the key fobs i have (433.92MHz) matches the frequency of the toyota keys i can buy, but will any of them work?

any help or advise would be great.
