Right guys..

This is how to remove the seats in a Toyota Celica Generation 7

First, you need to push ur back seats forward, so unclip at the top of seat and push both back seats forward so that you can see the grey back (carpet).

Then you need a wrench with a 10mm head

There are two nuts on either side of the seat, which you need to remove, then as easy as 1,2,3... the seats you will then need to gently ease out of the clips.

Once you have removed the 'back' backseat, then you will just need to gently lift the 'bottom' of the back seat up towards pointing the front of the car. it will 'click' out and there you have it.

I will attach some pics to show you where you need to unscrew the screws and how to remove them.

Hope this helps guys.

Hi, to save any confusion to yourself or others you might want to look at your first post regarding water under the rear seat as I have detailed on how to remove the rear seat assembly. The two nuts you mention are infact bolts, you will also need to remove the two centre bolts 13mm otherwise the rear seat cushion cannot be removed & I think more than a gentle lift will be required to release the seat cushion from the two securing clips at the front.

Otherwise it's a simple operation, as far as stopping the water getting under the rear seat if you carry out re sealing the weather strip on the roof I can almost guarantee 100% success.
