Previa Viscous Fan

I have a toyota previa 2.4 petrol 1997 with only 60000 miles from new, the problem is the viscous fan is always running and roars all the time, is there a fault or is this normal, what can be done to change this.

Does it run as soon as the ignition is on? If so then you have a faulty fan switch.

They are very easy to replace but expensive (at least for my Corolla) to buy new, so check out eBay and ask around sites like this.

I was lucky enough to be given one for free.
