That's good news on the 4wd system :)

It will be interesting to see what the Camry turns out like :)

Big power ?

Thanks Paul.

This is the stock specs of my 2.0 3sfe engine

3S-FE 87-90 Bore 86.0 mm Stroke 86.0 mm 9.8:1 1,998 cc 90 kW (122 PS; 121 bhp) at 5,600 rpm

169 N·m (125 lb·ft) at 4,400 rpm

And this is the same age Turbo version of the engine but with two camgears

driving the timingbelt, bone stock stuff

3S-GTE 86-89 Bore 86.0 mm Stroke 86.0 mm 8.5:1 1,998 cc 185 PS (136 kW; 182 bhp) at 6,000 rpm 250 N·m (184 lb·ft) at 3,600 rpm Celica GT-Four (ST165)

Im going to try making it close to 200hp. Stock 3sfe are known to do up to 230hp bone stock

and even driven 200miles, im going to be using my Garrett watercooled Turbine from a 4200cc landcruizer

frontmount intercooler medium sized, FMU 12:1, home made 3" exhaust, and I might do some other little bids

that Im going to keep for myself at this moment, first thing first is to bolt the turbokit on befor I talk to

much and sell the damn thing :D

Picture of the Garrett Turbine

531608_10150947433497717_601474575_n.jpg

Its huge!!

535029_10150947433732717_52643701_n.jpg

I bought it from someone who made it to a 4g63t Mitsubishi eclipse and he blew the engine with it hehe

561244_10150947433347717_1994949778_n.jpg

Im trying to find time to do this to the camry, I want to make it run the first day,

as it is now bone stock im having a blast drifting every roundabout I go into :chinese:

I will try take a tonn of pictures when I do this, hope I do it soon

Heck this is going to be cool, why don't you live in my town :D

Mmmmm turbo :D

Posted

Thanks guys :D

I have to pass smog in the end of this month (Oktober) and the exhaust just started leaking in two places

so now would be a good time to do the Turbo swap seeing that I need a new exhaust anyway..

<_<

Then I found out last night that a frontbumper from a Liftback GTi 1987-89 and Touring AE95 fits on the camry

and I have one with 6cm low front lip, seeing that the camrys front bumper or the lip is rusted to hell I also have

sideskirt from the GTi that fits almoast have to cut them where it meets the rear passenger doors.

so it seams to me im pretty lucky these days, hope theres no bad carma waiting for me by the next corner hehehe

Im clearly going all they way with this stuff :euro:

I found a FMIC, funny thing when I was looking at it I realiced it was my old Intercooler that

I bought from eBay for some turbo project that I never finished and sold it :D

522301_10151091564222717_356197480_n.jpg

I also got intercooler pipes with it, just the silicone hoses are really exspensive and I got both for cheap

528757_10151091564337717_2052685246_n.jpg

Then I had to buy some rims for the G6 16" 8" with going to look nice

564802_10151091568922717_1146571174_n.jpg

Ran into this one outside a shipping company where I just sold some Corolla front seats, I want those Sport Max rims!!!

577399_10151091564127717_1769941929_n.jpg

Then I rented a dolly (what do you call it?) and finally went to pick up my 4Runner winter toy

578502_10151091567027717_1637390194_n.jpg

Its been standing there for 2years and another 5years befor that, but Its got alot of new stuff in it

Yea, im begining to think Im drinking something that makes me want to buy every Toyota

I see or maybe this is just me doing what I love, it makes me happy I woulden be doing this

if it woulden make me feel good :doctor: and also Im not working with school so this buying

and selling business is what pays my bills wich actually are almost none muhahaha

Over to the offroader

Ive been keeping these rims for ages, they originally came from my old Hilux that I owned 6years ago

547019_10151094663242717_338472838_n.jpg

I had the 31" tires that came from the Jeep comanche pickup installed on´em

598882_10151094663372717_1862768539_n.jpg

Its actually really good looking and theres almoast no rust!!

250588_10151094664837717_1434686773_n.jpg

There was some ignition wire that melted thats why its like this, the new wire came with the car

545859_10151094664507717_874116556_n.jpg

Now just to find time to bolt everything together

246594_10151094664652717_1607217875_n.jpg

The RED interrior, dont know why I love these old school colours

421307_10151094663982717_347606166_n.jpg

Has an roll cage from factory

284096_10151094664117717_393910622_n.jpg

And this is the awesome 5 point offroad home made suspension with air shocks or what you call it

199874_10151094663662717_2095515570_n.jpg

This probably cost the guy fortune to buy and built into the 4Runner, just the air shocks alone cost more then I paid for the car, lucky me or am I?? maybe theres something terribly wrong with the car :g:

420508_10151094663822717_40885035_n.jpg

Up next will be some more turbo related stuff, Im trying to fit the turbine with the intercooler input in the camry

Enjoy :nerd:

how thick is the material you are using ? if its "regular" exaust piping you are using there is a big chance that the header wont take the heat and migth destroy the engine/turbo

take a look here http://www.sdsefi.com/techheader.htm

take a look here http://www.sdsefi.com/techheader.htm

Its "regular" material (1.55mm), Ive seen many use this over the internet and some going over 5years without problems

Im going to powdercode them and heatwrap them

You think it wont hold? going to be boosting stock 7psi

Posted

the way i see it this is a part that is going to be super hot then cold over and over again and that puts a lot of strain on the manifoil and you car risk that it cracks,

but if you have seen others use this setup with success then it worth a shot i guess ;)

if you look in that link i added in my previous post you can get some info about the material ticknes that is recommended ect..

love you ingenuity btw :) you have a fantastic project car :)

Posted

Thanks for the answer,

Wow that is a thick material the guy it using for the header, it makes me think this over again, maybe I should do it with thicker

material and then I can hold on the the headers later when I swap for another engine, the plan was to use my 1.55mm thickness

and waste the engine and then take it out and build a new one with 4age stuff in it so this header is not going to be used for

a long time.

But thanks for the post im going to bed and think this over

Well...

I don´t know if these ones came in your country og the countrys near by

AE10 4wd my friends old car

l.jpg

l.jpg

With my old silvertop rebuilt with stock 4wd trans

l.jpg

l.jpg

Came orginal with 7afe engine all "A" blocks have same pattern

l.jpg

Finished and sold to his brother

l.jpg

l.jpg

AE11 4wd facelift my old one, has the same stuff but tranny is little bit different dosent have a center vacum difflocker controle so its always open diffed

l.jpg

l.jpg

l.jpg

The 4wd tranny with vacum difflock age from 1988-1997

l.jpg

Floor from a AE10 body wider then any other Fwd corollas but you can fit the driveshaft in a Fwd floor

l.jpg

4wd tranny being fitted to a 4afe 1600cc engine same block as 7afe and 4age 20v exept the 7afe already comes with the center diff already grinded out of the block

l.jpg

l.jpg

The spot you have to grind out

l.jpg

Test fitting

l.jpg

l.jpg

Almoas there

l.jpg

Done grinding, the oil pan has a shape just for the center diff to fit so no altering there, same shaped oilpan in 4afe, 7afe and 4age 20v

l.jpg

l.jpg

My old AE10 wich I made 4afe 1600cc because I blew up the 7afe drifting it, yes its RWD because of the center vacum diff possibility you can lock it up and take the front axles out

but keep the CV joints bolted in the hubs and in the tranny so you wont brake the front bearring

and the gearoil wont leak out.

l.jpg

Lowering it just to make it drift more

l.jpg

l.jpg

Added 17" rims 215/40r17" tires to make it slide longer and easyer I miss that toy

l.jpg

l.jpg

l.jpg

This AE95 uses same tranny but I think it is some stronger then age 1993-2000 type

that one was also Rwd had it for a year like that and so much fun with it, oh god I love Toyotas

l.jpg

So safe to say what is the best model of 4wd corolla to use to make your car 4wd is to find

the same body as your car or take the one closest to your age, I used 1998 bygeye front end AE11 drivetrain and had three AE95 trannys laiing around but used the 1998 4wd first but blew it

and then put in the AE95 one age 1988 and it has been trough alot but nothing has come up.

use the harness and ECU that goes with the engine your going to use in your car!!

have more questions just ask buddy

Now for the continue of my G6 4wd Turbo project on a 7afe stock engine and 7afe harness and ecu.

Completed the flange that welds to the hedders to connect the turbo and hedders

14529_10151195511397717_1518367985_n.jpg

Cut new matterial for the hedders 3mm thick

603370_10151195511262717_525902185_n.jpg

398514_10151195511087717_761456907_n.jpg

Cut the hedders open and made this ring to lign right, havent welded anything yet have to find the perfect alignment

406686_10151195510912717_1582986897_n.jpg

Step by step...

It just misses the waterhose, have to wrap both the downpipe and the hose into some headsheald thingee

Steep hill

32155_10151326323317717_758226571_n.jpg

Then plans for the summer is to look for rust that needs care, powerfull engine swap

and rear drivetrain rebuilt with a Mitsubishi 8.5" LSD differential with shorter housing

to fit the body, lug pattern change the rear to fit 4x100 rims, new drivehaft.

Powerplans that I can choose from are these:

1.

20v Blacktop engine and T-50 ae86 box

2.

16v Bluetop engine with home made bolt on turbo and

k-50 stock Tercel box or T-50 ae86.

3.

And the newest one is a ka24 engine from a nissan

with a good Rwd gearbox that holds up to 500hp

and to top that a Garrett turbine with home made bolt ons

stock hp/Nm ratings

20v Blacktop 165hp/162nm

16v Bluetop 124hp/132nm - with turbo about 160-180hp

ka24 155hp/206nm - with turbo about 180-220hp with tonn af torque!

Cant wait to start on the Tercel!!

Thanks man

It's been done. In poland.

My diff came from an ae101 or ae111 body same drivetrain!

Diff size is 6.5" same as ae86 zenki so you could buy a lsd from an zenki ae86.
