So glad you finished the g6 - its made my day!

And dont worry about the suban, go rag it and if you do bin it its still worth the same in parts. No point in worrying about wrecking it, go and use it for what you built it to do :)

Thanks Steven :spiteful:

Im probably going to kill Suban in the first tryouts, Ive been so mad the time I was in that electric jungle

I almoast punched threwe the front windshield once and slammed the door so hard that the mirror broke

So yea I hate that suban monster and Im going to destroy it!!! :wheelchair: .........

just kidding, I will take good care of it.

Can I ask do you have a car ramp/lifter at your house.. as that would be handy :)

A lot of good work happening in your thread.

Thanks Paul, always a pleasure from you, grrrr....

Sorry, im ****faced right now, I´ve spent 10hours cleaning my home garage, the fuilth that lived there OMG!!!

Heres the almoast finished photo of it, only it needs those bikes pulled up to the roof in ropes so I can

back the GT-i all the way up to that wall and so I have some room at the front to take the 4age out of it

Actually heres moments later, moved the shelfs in the back to the front, you see befor and after...

God damn junk, my 17"drift rims, x2 4age engines, x3 FWD 4age 5gear transmissons, x2 4WD 4afe-7afe transmissions, x1 RWD T-50 :yucky: Not bad collection ey!

400834_10150497763992717_633217716_8801585_951960376_n.jpg

So, im drunk and I need to get that GT-i inside pronto!! Its snowing crazy outside and the GT-i dosent like snow

Enjoy buds, Im going to make a list of "how to 4wd equip your corolla" some day :jockey:

Ta look forward to the 4x4 guide :)

Thats a very nice work area you have, lots of stuff that will one day come in handy. I fancy doing a bike project, but really need to push on with my E11 this year.

The only thing I can't see in your garage is a kettle ? lol...

As for car electrics, I can understand your frustration, it's a very complicated issue, your a brave man taking on all these projects. But your skill level will be mega, prob good enough to work for a W.R.C team :)

Can I ask for a bit of advice, I'm looking at fitting some 17" wheels on mine, but if I was to change my car to 4wd taken from a Celica, would it be best to wait till I do that, as I dont want to get the wheel offset wrong etc ?

Ta ;)

Thanks Paul,

I just love driving bikes and driving them so fast that you feel the wind trying to push you off the bike feels so good ^_^ and I love fixing them to, so easy..

There is a kettle there somewhere in one of those shelfs filled with bolts and screws :D

I love electric dont get me wrong, I ones planned going to school and become electrictionist because

me and wires go along, finding a wire and finding out what it does or where it goes thrills me, I dont know

why it does and the same thing when I sand stuff down, Ive sand some of my cars down to bare metal with only my hands and a billion arks of sandpaper  Its something I can't really explain why I get such a kick out of it hench Ive been a painter for 10years because I love sanding but my best explanation is this, ones my dad came up to me and told

me, "Sonur, try to think of everything you do will show up later if you do it with your *****" and another one "Sonur, try think of the stuff you do, if you do it good and cool people start to know

you from doing it" so from this I started doing things the way to get it to be more "WOW! you did that?"

I also got a good thinking from one of my friends 3years ago, he say "Man, If you only had one

carproject going on, that project would be the coolest, hottest, fastest, insaneist project and

you would finish it faster that you would ever think you would because you always have like

4 projects going on at the same time." :D That got me thinking that I would be like superfixingman if I only had just one project that i would be constantly thinking of doing it better

and more WOWer, like it woulden only be RWD it would also be bulletproof or something...

For those 17" to buy them now or later!?

I would think of doing it later if your 100% going to do a 4wd convertion some time soon like in

the one year region but if not, I would just do it now and be glad to see your G6 rolling super fine

this next summer B) I actually bought new 17" rims just befor I did the 4wd convertion on mine

I ended up selling them to buy a 18" rims that you see on some photos I posted on page1 and

they fitted 100% I could drive the G6 lowered and with 4 passenger and not rubb the fenders!!

Actually I had already rolled my fenders 1year befor so I could use 215/45r17" tires without rubbing

EDIT:

Just found these pictures and uploaded them right away, really funny how I found them, I was looking for some old thecno music on random old CD´s and found these pics  amazing

400025_10150500269472717_633217716_8813579_333072205_n.jpg

And the last one, I dont know why or what but I remeber this and I still got it somewhere filled with toyota bolts and screws

400962_10150500269762717_633217716_8813581_791710200_n.jpg

Its all about Offset of the rims, Toyota corolla stock offset is 45 Celica 205 is 45, subaru I think it is 48 so you can rock your world out finding a good offset rims to fit befor or after you convert to 4wd its the same offset with both drivetrains but yours 4lug celica is 5lug problem there...

I actually just started thinking about converting 5lug subaru hubs into a corolla 4lug hubs, I have

the 17" drift rims I whanted to put under the Suban, but there is to much offset on the rims, there

from IS200 lexus with standars 50 offset and the rims go 2cm out of the fenders on the suban

cinda cool but will rub like crazy, I was thinking of putting them under the G6 but for that I would

have to go 5lug, bummer..

P.s.

Some of you notice "Sonur" thats my nick and has been for I dont know many many years, thats "son" like "welcome home son" but in my language is sonur, I thougt of

that nick when I was trying to find a good nick that I could use that no one else had

and I could use it with anything I could be later on in live, then my wonderfull wisdom father yelled at me from the bottom of the stairs, "Sonur!, dinner time get the ubik down now!"

Enough talking im out..

Posted

Nice bit of info "Sonur", I had considerd 18" rims as thats what the WRC E11 used, but people said they looked to big, but looking at your pictures I think they look fine. I think I will go with 18" rims once I work out what I want to do, WRC arches :)

I will do some reading when I get home from work tonight and see what I come up with, again thanks :)

425376_10150508434307717_633217716_8835271_1788283241_n.jpg

I went over the electric after I had spent some time in the Toyota electric this was so easy like eating air, I found out why the injectors didnt go on, they where just plugged to the wring wire

same with the fuelpump but theres a signal wire from the fuelpump relay that I cant find, thats

the wire that controles the relay to opens the power to the pump, I messured every single wire inside

the car but non of them is connected to that port so im going to cut it and alter its way to the Nissan

ECU and let it fire the pump when I start so next time I hope it runs on its own..

422536_10150508432717717_633217716_8835244_1865126483_n.jpg

I coulden check if I was right about the injectors because I opened the valvecover to make 200% shore I had timed the engine right, last time I started it and let it run for couple of seconts it sputtered little bit but it hadent been fired up for 3 years befor so I thought it was just bad fuel

419638_10150508436487717_633217716_8835296_907923685_n.jpg

No its easy as licking icecream, the G6 electric was 10times harder :cacker:

Now for the big news, valvecover back on

420337_10150511196602717_633217716_8841764_166941091_n.jpg

ITS ALIVE!!!!!

Need to sand the edges on the downpipe and hedders for the turbo after my latherworkshop friend did his work...

395705_10150511196417717_633217716_8841762_1452414512_n.jpg

And I wanted this to happen, this is the oil feedline hole for turbo

429838_10150511195647717_633217716_8841755_742861216_n.jpg

And this is 10% of the oil that was in the engine now on the floor  I just wanted to make shore it was the right hose, didnt what that to get into the water lines in the turbo!!

421081_10150511196807717_2032496376_n.jpg

Yea, next I will bolt everthing together and prep the suban to drive it to my dads garage to finish the exhaust...

Enloy fellas, I want to sell it and buy a Supra now!! I hate subaru :argue:

Posted

You are a mechanical star :-)

Very good news on getting the car to run ok, well done. Will you drive it a little before you sell it, although the idea of owning a Supra is a good one. I love the Mk3 Supras, but it's hard finding a good clean manual in the U.K.

I suspect your thinking about getting the Mk4 ?

Thansk Paul,

I think I will drive it first befor I do anything more :D

Ive always wanted a supra

I like the look of Mk4 but MK3 calls to me, that old style body says do me "hello, DIVE ME" and I

dont like the price on Mk4 there to exspensive just for a newer body, if you can buy the older one

with same stuff for almoast 50% less!!! Ive actually been looking into buying a supra MK3 or MR2

1gen in Europe in the region of Germany so I can have the steering wheel on the left side

and they are not that exspensive over there when they come on sale that is, wich is not that often.

Right.. on with Suban aight?

Headders with newly sanded endges is ON

421013_10150516274332717_633217716_8858590_1529367045_n.jpg

Closer look

407575_10150516274577717_633217716_8858592_1055466456_n.jpg

Turbo on and the new breather fitting in the valvecover, befor I shortened both ends to fit

417472_10150516274872717_633217716_8858594_271097388_n.jpg

Breather connected with K&N filter

427175_10150516275352717_633217716_8858599_969420761_n.jpg

Side view, getting closer to the finish

409217_10150516275837717_633217716_8858604_1185531503_n.jpg

New manual boost regulator, I dont think I will use that yellow drug finding vein hose, going for something cooler

166966_10150516276107717_471838623_n.jpg

This I thougt would look ugly but came out ok and fitts well, stock impreza header

hoses and stock sr20 header hoses with 16/19mm fittings

420889_10150516276532717_633217716_8858607_66237231_n.jpg

And the Video

Only has the downpipe on, have to find time to do the rest of the exhaust

and the only lights that come up in the gage cluster is handbrake, open door and ABS light, I dont have the ABS electric in the sr20 harness so Im skipping the ABS

I dont even like it that much, I disconected it in my G6 that was the first thing I did when I bought it :P

Enjoy peps hope you like what you see despite not beeing a Toyota :giljotiini:

Thanks again Paul

To day was a hystoric moment, I took the Suban for a ride

417889_10150521161042717_633217716_8872547_1330796900_n.jpg

It was just a little ride, a first and secont gear pull

431122_10150521160367717_633217716_8872542_1465181132_n.jpg

I was only going to back it out to clean the foor little bit, but I coulden resist :D

423308_10150521160697717_633217716_8872545_366022979_n.jpg

Now just some minor things left to do but time-consuming stuff

Then another thing happent, I had nothing to do in my lunch at school so me and my

work buddy went something to eat and we checked some Autosales down town and

I had to pick this up

396670_10150521122462717_633217716_8872404_1941171843_n.jpg

Had a busted radiator, just bougt new one and a waterpump also, Its a 323i 2500cc 6cyl manual!!

Dont know what to do with it yet hehe

Enjoy

So how was the 1st and 2nd gear drive, did you enjoy it :)

Big fan of the E36, I've had a few in the past, my last was a 328i.. I fitted some coilovers, E46 wheels, strut brace, a different intake manifold to derestrict it :) You will enjoy that one..

Nice E36 you had there looks just like mine hehe

Yea, about the 1st and 2nd gear drive :D

Its crazy, Its so active, I had to rev it up to 3000rpm to get it going in 1st gear because of the racing

clutch kit it has, and the activeness is so much because of the Hockey puck engine mount

the engine is rock solid to the body, you cant even move it by shacking the engine in the engine bay the whole car just shackes if you try so when I put the petal to the metal twice, my head just went out the rear window and it just starts to spin the tires right away (It was dry, all the snow is gone) even when I stopped it to try it again because it was so awesome, It just starts spining the tires with hardly no gas I cant wait to finish it and start using it to school, It takes me 15km to get there and the rode over there is so fun, alot of long turns and small turns to drift all the way to school

It was actually not that quick like I thought it would be but I havent timed the ignition yet

and I figured out why it didnt do anything after 4500revs, I forgot to tap the wastegate

it has two vacum ports, one direct from turbo intake and one goes to boostcontroler

I forgot to tap it with a screw or something so It would give full boost, it was giving

like 4psi max wen I ran it down the street, silly me  but for a 2.0 stock engine almoast

that was a fun ride, Im going to try get my ***** out there again and connect the boostcontroller

and plug my boostgauge to see how its doing then I can start using it, I could even pick up

the licensplates and take a longer cirkle to let it head up more so I can tune the ignition finer..

For now, peace out!

p.s.

Im begining on the turbo hedders for the G6 :batman:

Posted

Well..

I closed the wastegate in Suban to see if it boosting more then befor, yebb it did, I actually

dont know how much its boosting I dont have the boostgauge connected yet but the turbo whine is much louder now then befor, you can hear it

coming miles away hehe..

Over to G6

I did a bunch in the turbo hedder thinking aeria, Im going to buy another stock 7afe hedders

and fab a turbo mount to connect to it and try turning the turbo littlebit to fit the downpipe

I´ll show you when I have it all in my hands, will hopefully be driving with turbo befor summer :drunk:

Over to BMW E36

I finished fixing it last night, changed to new water pump then I went killing tiers today, it moves alot more then my old black E36 I had with the same motor, srange.

My old one didnt have sunroof but it had that leather interrior, I would trade leather interrior anytime for a sunroof..

Ive never seen this purple interrior in a BMW befor, its so nice and the car drives so smooth

When you say moves, do you mean accelration ? or do you mean moving around on the road ?

Mine had a black interior, there very nice cars.. miss mine, well I miss the performance, not the fuel bill lol..

Now if only my E11 had that much poke, well I would be a happy man.

I will keep an eye out for the G6 update :)

Yea I ment acceleration and yea I know what you mean with the fuel bill haha, its crazy how much gas it spends..

G6:

I havent had time to take any photos of this turbo stuff, Im hoping to do some more fine alignment next wheekend

on how Im going to have the turbo next to the engine, my radiator is so huge...

I sold the E36 last wednesday and got good cash and a Subaru legacy GL 1992 with 2.0 manual..

431380_10150558587447717_633217716_8976654_773560677_n.jpg

So the resent days Ive been thinking about what to do with the suban, Im having major hard time getting alot of stuff

to work in the body, I dont get power to the gaugedash lights, turnsignals, headlights and taillights and no high beam

and the horn dosent work, Ive messured all the electric and I dont get it where the problem is coming from and

yeasterday I thought of some thing funny...

I went out side and got one of the carbabychair and put it in the backseet of the suban and it dosent fit, or it fits

but I have to sit almoast under the dash so I cant drive the car!! so It got me thinking, I like this nissan engine alot

and I want to keep it so I was thinking of putting the sr20det engine into the legacy wagon :D and put the 2.0l boxer

engine in the legacy into the suban and sell it so I cant get some monney out of it because like it is now Ive only

had lame offers and even one offered me to buy the body only and I keep the engine for my self.. The suban is

costing me so much already and I dont want to spend a dime more into it so Im thinking of a way out here...

And I dont want to make another G6 problem, I think the only reason I dont want to sell the G6 is because Ive spent

so much monney into it and I will never get it back so I might as well keep it till I die...

tell me what you think of it guys? :help:

You live really close to the sea don't you, that must be nice.

You must have a very good understanding of most cars, all the work you do seems really interesting. Have you come up with a 4wd kit for the E11 Corolla yet ;-)

Can I ask you a question, I'm looking at a rear disc conversion over the rear drums.. do you think it's a good idea ?

Yea, I live by the sea, that´s ok but when you have cars that matter to you really much, you feel theyre pain everyday poor G6 :nopity:

I like things with engine in´em what more can I say.. As for the 4wd kits Ive not gone searching for anything yet

I want to buy a shop first so I can store the kits somewhere..

It depents what your going to use your G6 for, why do you need colder brakes?

Well Im almoast finished whit the suban, I spent the whole day in it, put all the interrior back in

all the lights back on and grill, adjusted the steering, went over the engine bay ones more

Im going to run it on the street this wheek and see if anything brakes or bakes hehe

and then Im probably going to trade it with this one

Subaru Impreza WRX TD04 USA type 2003 driven only 60.000km :o Carbon Fiber hood and fast & furious bodykit

DSC01960.jpg

DSC01967.jpg

Theres a good reason for this, Im so fed up with suban, Ive spend more then a year now on it and I dont want to drive it I olny want to get rid of it befor something else happens to it..

I want to make room and time for G6 instead, he´s my heart and soul when comes to cars

Thats a very nice red scoob, should keep you happy whilst you do your G6 up :)

As for mine, I wanted to go down the world rally car route, which meant 18" wheels, bigger discs brakes, GT4 running gear.. but so far I'm looking at about £15k to do it. So I may just revise my plans lol and fit a black or silver top, and just make the SR handle like a Go-Kart :)

Nice photos by the way.

Thanks Paul..

Just my advise, im deep into cars when I get started on one, for example Suban or the G6 4wd and I know cars

really well, if you know what your are doing and you can handle looking at your car in pieces while your doing all

the swap, you go for it, other wise I would recomend you sell your red loving G6 and buy a nissan GTR Pulsar

if you want the simular 3door hatch feeling but with everything in it already, just to pass all the time and monney

spending on making your own car Its just to exspensive, I myself am thinking of selling every

car I have now and start over, I want to buy and import a MK3 supra and a 4age MR2 1gen.. Im getting sick

of building cool stuff into cars Im thinking of finishing the Comanche pickup for my motorcross bikes and

the GT-i Rwd or 4wd Liftback as a daily and then just buy the cars from then with everything already in´em.

Its to exspensive to build your own cars from cero you pay full price for everything!

Just my advise to you..

Suban stuff

I fully understand why you would want a MK3 Supra, as it's one of the cars I would like after my Corolla. I have a friend at the moment that is looking out for a Celica GT4 for me to take the parts off I need. If that doesn't happen then I will just run the car until April and leave it OEM.

Will be a shame if you sell your G6 but a clean slate is always a nice thing.

A nice update and a lot of good pictures :)

If you had the time and money would you do a complete restoration ? I would love to, but it's a lot of work isn't it.

There are some nice parts on it, do you know the history of the car at all ?

Posted

No I would not do a complete restoration because I would never finish it If I had the monney, I would always

do some more to it then just the regular restoration stuff :D and yeas its alot of work

I dont know the history of the AE86 but 6year ago it was daily driven and I even sat in it drunk with

my friend cruzing down town and sideways every street corner you could see :D then someone

must have bought it and turned it into a Rallycar like it is to day and I dont have a clue how many

guys have owned it but Im told they are more then 20 from the year 2005 so it has had some beeting :P

Im almoast finished with cutting and bolting everything out of the car that I can use or sell, I already sold

the rear diff and axles for double the amount I bought the car, hehe... And I just bought the AE95 I was

talking about and Im going to build the AE86 into that body when comes to summer but for know Im

going to try get the Jeep pickup street driveable and have it pass exspection befor the end of Mai...

until next....

Posted

Thats a good result on the back axle and diff :) always nice to sell stuff to make more money than you paid for it.

The AE86 into an AE95... I look forward to the pictures lol
