Avensis T3X D4D 55 Plate (Diesel)

Hi Guys,

I have looked through the forums and cannot see a proper match for the problem.Aplogies if I have missed it,new to the club.

I have an Avensis T3X D4D 55 plate,and a repeating problem.After driving 5/10 miles the VSC & TRC off warning lights come on and stay on.

I have taken it to a dealer who did a diag test CODE C1208 steering sensor output circuit tested ok.He said if it continues I will need a new sensor about £500 including labour, as they have to do something to the steering rack to replace sensor.The steering & brakes appear to work ok so reluctant to Shell out a lot of dosh if its not a problem and the car is safe to drive.

Or if changing sensor does not fix the problem ,and the bills keep rolling in.

Would appreciate any help or advise from you guys
