Hi to everyone

I had some problems with the clutch and i would like to share this info with everyone.

So i took an Aygo a used one 29500km on the clock. I did in two months 1500km and i started hearing a grinding sound from the clutch.

So i took it to a non Toyota garage they took it apart and the problem was that the pilot bearing was broken and the clutch cover that holds the disk was broken too, from inside not the outside teethes. From inside there is a ring where the disk is siting when you push the pedal down. So what we think is that the cable had been too tight and the free play wasn't too much from the beginning and the old driver that was driving before was holding pressed too much the clutch pedal so that's a reason that it got broken.

Now everything is new the disk case the disk and the pilot bearing but the problem that i have now is that i hear another sound when the pedal is not depressed but when i start depressing it the sound stops. There are some ideas from what it could be but since there are some abnormal and not usual things going on withe the Aygos clutch i think that sound could be anything. Its like something is touching something else and when i press the pedal down its stops. Some people say it might be normal but since i never had another aygo i dont know if that sound is normal or not.

So please all Aygo owners that might be riding this can you check on your car if you have any change in the sounds from the engine when you press the clutch pedal. So i am interested in a sound that will stop when you press the pedal down.

I will take it to the garage to take it apart again everything i would like to see any suggestions that might help in solving the problem.

Thanks in advance
