Greetings all....

I have just bought my first Toyota..(owned a Lexus before, but 1st Toyota)...

Bought a '94 Red Rav 4 2.0 GX 3dr manual.

Interior is a little tatty but some TLC will bring that back, & exterior is in good nick though missing a few decals etc.

Drives lovely & very happy so far!

Will try & get some pics up soon, & no doubt there will be some noob questions coming soon!

welcome to the forum

you'll probably find the drivers seat foam has collapsed (normal)and the cheap carpet gets worn/grubby.

I have some spare bits like rear seats, and headrests. I replaced the carpet on my number 1 RAV, and also changed the steering wheel. The steering wheel airbag is a mechanical device and not linked to sensors electrically...so i found. Still got the airbag lurking in my garage somewhere!

Bothwell, thanks but to be honest the seat foam is ok, just the upholsetery is generally tired....bit grubby etc, but gonna get some seat covers i reckon for now......tried clenaing them but no joy.

there are a couple of little questions....

1)where can i find replacement GX decals for the pillars behind the doors? They have come off & the outlines are all that remain.

2) between the steering wheel & the stereo is a little circular gap in the dash....looks like it could be another ignition hole, but has no cover & is empty. Any ideas?

This is a temporary stop gap car, lookingto go shopping again end of October roughly.....but love it....nice drive! may replace with a better example (and may keep this as a project.......)
