Coolant Loss

My T25 1ad is loosing coolant. I do not think it is head gasket because there is no signs on the cap, plus it looses it pretty quickly.

Anybody knows a garrage around Guildford/Farnham/Aldershot area that can do a pressure test? Or should I just visit a dealer? I was also thinking about UV dye and even found one place that can supply it, anybody used it?

I assume you have checked all hoses and their connections? make sure the drain tap on the radiator is not leaking...I nipped mine up recently. No sign of wetness under bonnet at all...particularly in area of water pump? Check that nothing is leaking from heater inside of the car...wet mats? Check for signs of leaking around thermostat housing and check any pipes taking hot water to the inlet manifold. If nothing apparent, then either take it to a Toyota or Jap Car specialist or failing that to your dealer. By the way, You say no sign on the cap? I take it you mean oil filler cap? have you checked your oil level as well?

OK, it turned out it is the headgasket. Unfortunately, following taking it apart turned out that engine block is not straight (cylinders 2 and 3 are lower) and therefore would require skimming, but due to existing headgasket having 4 notches, if we skim both the head and block the 5 notches headgasket will not be thick enough. I have found a replacement engine, but it comes from T27. It looks very simmilar, but has a different injector layout. Try Middlesex - Rebores, they sell metal head shims which stop any valve to piston touching once head has been skimmed ? You say problem with block, must be worth a phone call before you go changing your engine. In the Yellow Pages, just off the A1/A41 coming into the top of NW London.
