Welcome to TOC.

I think you are a little mixed up. The AE101 is a vehicle model number and the 4A-GZE is an engine number.

Perhaps you were thinking about the 20 valve 4A-GE as an alternative.

My choice for my UK spec AE111 Corolla was the supercharged 4A-GZE.

oic.....

oppsss sowie...misunderstood....forgot refer to this page...

http://www.users.bigpond.com/vidore/toyota...4age_engine.htm

AE111 - 6 gear right....

but the engine price in m'sia is quite expensive 1/3 the price of AE101

so that's y i'm askin u guys, AE101 can add on super charged or turbo.....is that possible...?

6 gear refers to the gear box not the engine... you can bolt pretty much any box to any engine with some hard work.

so are you after Engine comparisons ? Car comparisons, drive train comparisons ????

your question needs to be asked a little more clearly.

in this coming month i'm going to get my car(2nd hand)...corolla SEG AE100 1992, 1600cc, converted to 4AGE 20vavle the 5th generation. So i'm planning to upgrade the car......

either one

i) add on turbo or supercharged....

or

ii) high cam, adjustable pulley, port polish, engine balancing n what so ever....

which one is better.....any suggestion please...thank you
