See below:[Look in the "Accessory Installation Manuals" thread above.

I fitted mud flaps to my Aygo some years ago and used that as a reference without any problem.]

Sorry, I just had a look through the AIMs for the Aygo and couldn't find the bit on fitting mudflaps.Maybe it has been removed, or I missed it.

It is certainly not difficult to do.

AFAIK you can fit the front ones in existing screw holes.

For the rears you need to drill some holes.

And I hear that taking off the wheels may make it easier,

but it CAN be done with the wheels on...

The front flaps seat into bolt holes that are already there. IIRC then two go into the wheel arch and one underneath (into the sill). Very easy, but it is advisable to take the wheels off as you go. I'm lazy and couldn't be bothered,so took my time and was patient...it can be done :)

The rears are a tad more tricky as you have to align the mud flap, offering it up the rear valance of the bumper, mark the necessary holes and drill into the plastic. The issue I have with the facelift Aygo is that unlike the original, the valance edge you have to drill into (the inner wheel arch area) is too narrow. This means you cannot fit the metal clips that sit over the drilled hole and ensure the plastic does not stretch. They are too deep. You have no choice but to drill the hole and tighten the retaining screw into the plastic :(

Not a good design IMHO, but once done, car looks much better, they do their job well and once fitted, will remain on the car. I got some stupid low price offer from my local Dealership and jumped at the price.

I posted a thread on here when I fitted mine, might be worth having a read (I hope!).

You can actually do it yourself. I did but, I recommend someone there to help you, and alo its easier if you take the rear wheels off.

When I bought my rear mud guards. Toyota wanted £77 for the pleasure.

You CAN fir the rear guards without taking the wheels off, but you need a drill that has a low profile, or long enough drill bit to do the job or the wheel will get in the way.

How did I do it? I placed the guards on my bumper, and marked where the wholes would go and drill them.

You only have to do do the side screws first. The last screw is at the bottom, and I did that last.

It took me 25 minutes to do the job.

Hi Viper, I have just bought a set of mud flaps too, i have installed the fronts no hassle, but when i opened up the rear packet all that was in the packet was mud flaps and just six screws, is that all there was with yours?

I haven't actually bought them yet i have seen many city bugs (Aygo, 107, C1) with just front mud guards and they look good my local peugeot dealer will give me them for £15 inc VAT so i might just buy the front mude guards that can be fitted easily, im only doing simple modifications to the car and if it involves drilling into the back bumper i won't do it but if you guys say the front can be fitted no problem thats what i will do thanks for all your help guys updates and pics when ive got them fitted
