I've been driving a 95 corolla for the last few years, imported, auto diesel.. very very nice car... Rubbish stereo :D

Unluckily tho, the head gasket seems to have gone on it, it's losing oil at front of engine, and the power is down, oil in the coolant etc.. looks like work & it's hard to find mechanics to work on cars like this these days..

So now i have 2000 automatic 1.8 Avensis saloon - so far all good news on service history etc..

minor headache trying to find affordable replacement door moulding (dealer's price is shocking €120 just for parts)..

some other minor jobs which were put right easily.. even saved a few euros using tips from members on this site..

Also the sunroof (moonroof?) is a pain to use.. very sticky.. stuck open once.. used 'ignition trick' found on here & it was sorted..
