Rav 4 With Vvti Engine

I have a 1998 RAV which i want to fit a VVTI engine, has anyone done this or does anyone have an import with one fitted, any help with my project would be great.

Frankly, your wasting time and money putting a vvti into a 4.1 car. Cheaper n easier to buy a 4.2 which is bigger and comes with that engine. It will cost just as much as fitting a turbo engine, and justa s much work if not more as I'm not so sure that the gearbox mounts are the same/similar. How many bhp do you expect outa the vvti?
