Engine Block Heater

Has anybody fitted a engine block heater to a petrol rav(2008) your advice much appreciated.

I do seem to remember one on a Canadian rental car I had some years ago but that would have been a manufactures original.

There is one for cold countries. It consists of a combustion heater under the RH wing and a element that screws into the block. You'll ask to ask Kingo if he can get one. Shouldn't be necessary in this country though

A lot of the ones in Canada seem to be mains voltage electric so that you can plug in them outside your home or office. I used a Trooper with one fitted when I worked over there for a few days ( some years ago ). There was a short flying lead that you pulled from under the front valance.
