Xenon Bulbs On 4.2

:help: Dose anyone know if u HAVE to have "ballast" with HD bulbs? (at the moment ,I have HD4 bulbs and no "ballast", waiting to be fitted)or can they work ok without. CHEERS :) Greatfull for any help!

Err - you have to use a ballast with HID bulbs (gas discharge) but not with xenon bulb upgrades. I hope this helps but not sure what you mean by HD bulbs :unsure:

Sorry anchorman, I was going by the dscription,might have misread :blink: Im sure it said "H or HD but definateley said "xenon" they are 55w. white/blue just like the ones you said u got in one of your recent posts (erlier today) Thanks for puting me wise! :)

yeah ordinary xenon upgrades are fine. On a 4.3 the dipped bulbs are H11s :thumbsup:

Thanks again, everybody seems to be getting into this white,bright light thing and my mates at work say they're really good. Now i can go ahead an' fit 'em and maybe see better on the single track roads up here in the wild west! :thumbsup:
