Aa Renewal ?

Morning all, just had the renewal notice for the Club Toyota, for £64, what I can not see, if I have some of it, does it cover Home start?, or is that an extra, so far I have called them out twice to my address, both times self inflicted

I believe that club toyota membership gives full membership of the aa - including home start, relay, all the bits including Continental cover..... that said, it did when it was with the RAC - I'm assuming that Mr T wouldn't have gone less with the AA although I've no idea why they changed from one to t'other!

With my recent copy of "today tomorrow" the letter said see p52 for details of what club toyota offers. Within it is AA annual roadside assistance- covering nationwide recovery, roadside repairs, home start, onward travel and european cover. I kept it for renewal time- just to make sure it isn't too good to be true!!

What I can't do is get my money back from the AA as I suspended my personal membership when I got the free cover on getting the prius.

Thanks all, I will give them a ring, I had to call them out twice because the boot lid was not shut properly, and it flattened the Battery..........

Yes the cover definitely covers home start. It is fully comprehensive and includes Europe.

IIRC you get Roadside, Home Start and Relay IIRC. It's a pretty good deal considering how much all that would cost from the AA!

The Club Toyota membership really is a steal, if only for the breakdown cover! (TBH that's the only reason I am a member There's probably some other stuff, but damned if I know what :P)

Unlike 'real' AA membership tho', it only covers *you* in *that car* so be aware of that.

Also, you aren't a real AA member so you can't take advantage of any AA offers (But frankly they're mostly as useless as the other Club Toyota offers so not much lost there!)

I do still wonder why Toyota changed from the RAC to the AA tho'
