Toughened Windscreen

Day 19, and in need of a new windscreen. I was overtaking in the middle lane of the M6, doing 70, I was overtaken by a car doing 90 - 100, who pulled in front of me (with sufficient space between us) to let some other idiot fly past him.

Thankfully, the toughed glass worked, otherwise it would have hit my wife smack in the face.

The area of impact is about 2.5 inches across :censor: :censor:

I had autoglass out today to fit the new windscreen, and after asking on the phone they assured me it was the correct glass and there would be no problem. 5 mins later the guy is back in my work telling me that, the mirror connection is not the same and away he went. They phoned me this afternoon and asked for my chassis no. had to phone the dealer to get the info. They have now sourced the glass from Toyota and it will not be fitted till next thursday.

Thank goodness it is not letting in water.
