I write this, because a friend of mine said to me that using 90 octanes only reduces power/potency of the car, but the motor won´t be damaged/live shortly. I have a 95 GLimited, 3SGE. Does anybody knows what the ECT-S manual/PWR means?, also i have installed a city road transmitter, a TV and a VHS, and I have noticed that the night vision is low (externally and internally).

i have no idea what an ECT-S manual/PWR is/means but as to fuel, Premium Unleaded is best for the 3SGE. Since its not a turbo you dont have to really worry about running Optimax. Using standard 95 unleaded is ok too if you dont thrash the car around too much. The higher the RON number though the more your engine will love you for it  You didnt say what country youre in so im assuming youre from the UK!

-edit, i see from your profile youre from peru..i dont know what fuels you have there, but as i said the higher the RON number the better it is for your car, i would say 95 is a minimum.

here, we use unleaded fuel 84, 90, 95, 98, and Diesel. the ECT-S (electronic control system I think is shown in the Tacometer display, the buttons to activate it are below the shift knob. I think the PWR button makes the car shift from first to second on 7,000 rpm. and works the same on third and four gear, the MANUAL button.. i really can´t think how to use it.

the reason I want to use 90 is because is cheaper.. mmm here 1 gallon of 95 can cost 3.25 dollars, means 45 dollars to fill the tank.

Well 3.25 dollars for a gallon isn't bad at all. Over here it would cost approx 6.65 dollars for a gallon of petrol. So to fill your tank in the UK, you would be looking at approximately $92!!!

95 dollars to fill the tank????? wow.... I´m speechless.. but if i have to consider the monthly average income of a peruvian (200 dollars, not my average income luckily)... then 3,25 dollars is A LOT.

Ah yes I can see your point. Average monthly income of Professionals in Uk will probably be around $1800 gross and say $1500 net. There will be huge variences of course.
