Insurance shot up this year - £370

I think last year I told them I had a better quote and got it for abot 270 - so will be looking about.

Question - I have a toyota style pack on it - bumper / spoiler / steps.......

anyone have these and what did you say to the insurance? online options say modified or not.

Have a look at Admiral. Certainly way more competetive than any of the others when it came to insure my daughter and son. Got a quote online and then they followed up with a phone call and bettered it.

As far as style pack goes, so long as they are all options available from the dealer I don't think they should have any effect on premium

I'm with Privilege - told them about the style and protection pack. I told them that they were side steps, reversing sensors, scratch guards, etc., emphasising the protection bit. No extra charge.

That's completely different to my experience with Privilege, albeit a few years ago now, and on my previous car (Mazda RX8). They charged me extra for having leather seats as an option :censor: Said it made my car more attractive to thieves, compared to one without leather!!

did i say I added my daughter and son-in-law to my previa insurance for £2.64 !
